Before you read anything else, I want you to know this.
A little about where I'm coming from.
Everything I say comes from a place of love. Even if I come off as tough.
I'll never pass judgment. It's likely I've made the same or similar choices, or been through similar circumstances.
I'm a raw and to the point kind of person — and not because I lack compassion, but because I feel some things are too important to be tiptoed around for fear of missing the point or the significance. And also — for fear of wasting too much time. There is so much to learn every day. My trauma leaves me blessed with a fear of being left behind.
So let's go, sister. Pedal's on the right. ♥
Sometimes I was the victim, sometimes I was the villain. Which sometimes is an entirely hard pill to swallow — but it gives me a home field advantage to most of these trials and tribulations.
It was also a huge blow to my ego, and honestly still is. But what I've learned is that my role at the time isn't as important as the lessons those times taught me.
Because all I can change is the choices I make today. Not yesterday.
One thing I know for sure — I did not survive all this tragedy for nothing.
I did not survive every trauma, abuse, negative coping skill, poor life choice, and life inside my own damn mind for no reason. There's no way. I refuse to let it be true.
I share these gifts of my crazy life with you all. 💜
